This training module is a 30-minute DVD created to guide you through the risk assessment process. The training DVD will guide you through the basics of the risk assessment process and what is new in the world of risk assessment. It covers many of the risk scoring systems found in industry standards including: ANSI/PMMI B155.1, ANSI/RIA R15.06, Z10, ISO 14121-1, SEMI S10 and many others. The training also includes a brief demonstration of the designsafe® risk assessment tool. 

The training is lead by Bruce Main, president of design safety engineering, inc. Mr. Main is a professional engineer and certified safety professional. Mr. Main holds mechanical engineering degrees from MIT and the University of Michigan, and an MBA also from the University of Michigan. 

He serves as chair of ANSI B11 TR7 on Designing for Safety and Lean Manufacturing and the pending ANSI B11 standard on General Safety Requirements. He is also a member of the ANSI B11 TR3 subcommittee and ANSI/PMMI B155.1 Packaging Machinery Safety Requirements committee. He is a technical expert to the U.S. delegation on Technical Committee 199, Working Group 5 revising the ISO 14121/EN 1050 risk assessment standard for Europe. He is also the primary representative to the B11 Committee (machine tool industry) on behalf of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
